Brand Identity : Jessica Norman

Brand Identity & Design, Uncategorized

Happy Friday! It’s a little late for a post, but everything is final and I couldn’t wait to share this project!! Back in the beginning of 2010, I had the amazing opportunity to meet Jessica Norman, an amazing wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Chicago, IL. Back then, Jess was starting a photography endeavor and we worked together on a brand identity project. Fast-foward to 2011 … Jess was in a new city, and after some soul-searching and focus on her business, she decided it was time for a change … new name, new look, new focus.

Jess’ passion for life is contagious! She is absolutely in love with traveling, experiencing different cuisines, and drinking amazing wine. She’s loving and fun, and she loves working with couples who share those same passions. She knew she wanted her new brand identity to reflect these values, so we went with vibrant colors and wanted to mix classic and modern elements. I am really happy with the final product as I totally see her when I look at this logo!

As with most of my branding projects … I like to create an alternate logo or graphic element to use on various marketing pieces. For Jess’ logo, I wanted a fun stamp/icon design she could use on stickers or a rubber stamp. We took the most important elements (fonts and the stripes), and this little baby was created:

I cannot wait to share what else we’re working on: her new website & marketing materials. Until then, be sure to stop by and say hello to Jess!
