When I first started my business in 2010, I had no idea where I’d be headed. All I could hope for is one amazing person to trust me with their project, time, and money. Now, over two years later, I get a little silly when I think of how many amazing people have helped my small business grow. If you look back through my posts, you’ll see I don’t refer to myself as a small business very often, instead, I refer to it as an independent business but I’m working even more to get more income. Honestly, it makes me feel better, stronger, more-legit. Fake it til’ you make it, right? But the truth is … I am an independent business. Over the past two plus years, I’ve grown from one client … to over forty clients per year who trust my vision & creativity. Another fact: I’ve been running my studio from my home, and as much as I love it, I am outgrowing this little space, and I am ready to expand. I have a big vision for the future of Three Fifteen Design, and right now, I feel like I’m a fish in a little fish bowl (in case you didn’t know … some (all?) fish will grow if you give them more room to do so). I am ready to grow … I am ready for the next chapter.

So, today, I am feeling inspired. I am feeling like it’s time to start putting out feelers for designers who are wanting to be a part of a fun, evolving graphic design studio. Branding for other creatives is the main focus right now, but I also have dreams of a little online storefront (more on that in a bit … a fellow creative & I are working on it now). If you’re in Portland, and you’re a designer … or know a designer who is looking to join a studio like mine, I’d love to hear from you!! I am really looking for someone (or more than one person) who loves my aesthetic, but can already see the areas where their strengths would add value to the 315 Design brand. It would be a lot of collaboration, and I have dreams of everyone putting their minds together on each project to create a truly unique product for our clients. Oh, and I have money … I will pay you! This will be a real job and will be paying employees using paystub for convenience and safety. As soon as I find a new space, I’ll be actively interviewing interested designers for this position (which will officially be announced soon). For now, I’d just love for you to introduce yourself. You can email me at: hello (at) threefifteendesign (dot) com. I can’t wait to meet you!

I am so very excited to see the adventures that 2013 has waiting for the studio!

Cheers,

Ravyn
